For Advanced English students who need practice of grammar for improved fluency.
This course offers a course fee subsidy through funding from the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) for NZ citizen and permanent migrant adults, their partners on work visas or visitor visas, and refugees. To qualify, registrants should be over the age of 16 years and not currently enrolled in a secondary school. We need to collect extra information such as age, ethnicity, educational achievement and gender for statistical purposes. You must also provide evidence of NZ citizenship, residency or refugee status. A condition of accepting a course fee subsidy is that you commit to at least 80% attendance of your course. The subsidised course fee is $15.
Have you learnt a lot of English grammar but sometimes still have trouble knowing when, why and how to use it correctly? Do you want more practice at using the grammar you know so that you can become more fluent? If you answered “yes” to these questions, then this course is for you.
Join Diana for weekly Grammar revision and practice. We will revise things like narrative tenses, conditionals, and the grammar used for different functions like speculation, deduction, prediction and many more. We will also revise things like articles and prepositions - which seem simple, but are not!
At the end of this course, you will feel more confident in using the grammar required to function successfully in your daily life. You will also have some fun and make some great new friends.
