Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) course fee subsidy
This course offers a course fee subsidy through funding from the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) for:
- NZ citizens;
- Those who hold a residency-class visa;
- Individuals granted refugee status;
- In some cases spouses of NZ citizens and permanent migrants may also qualify - please contact the office to enquire.
Conditions:
- Registrants must be aged 16 years or older.
- Registrants must not be currently enrolled at a secondary school.
- You should attend at least 80% of your classes to qualify for a fee subsidy.
- We need to collect extra information such as age, ethnicity, educational achievement and gender for statistical purposes.
- You must provide evidence of NZ citizenship, residency or refugee status.
If you are unable to meet these conditions, please contact the office to discuss your situation. The subsidised course fee is $40.

CapCut is a video editing app which will empower you to enhance your videos with effects, music, subtitles, and more for that viral impact.
In this workshop you will be given an overview of the importance of content marketing and the emerging trend of social video to create impact in market presence. You will learn how to understand the basic interface and features of CapCut and explore editing tools and techniques with CapCut. You will also discover how to add and customise effects, filters, and transititions to make your content visually appealing. This will use text overlays, stickers and music to enhance your videos.
By the end of the day you will understand the best practices for exporting your videos in high quality, and learn tips for optimising your content for various social media platforms fot maximise engagement.
