Rooted in centuries of tradition, Syrian cooking is a celebration of fresh ingredients, aromatic spices, and bold flavours. In this course, you’ll discover the secrets behind beloved family recipes that have been passed down through generations.

Guided by an experienced Syrian cook, you’ll explore:

    • Classic Syrian appetisers like mutabbal, and some salads

    • Hearty main dishes such as kebab with cherry, maqluba

    • Cooking with yogurt like shishbarak

    • Unique rustic dishes like Syrian Omelette

Whether you're a beginner or experienced cook, this course offers a deep dive into the flavours and traditions of Syria, giving you the skills and confidence to recreate these iconic dishes at home.

    About your tutor Aicha

I'm a software engineer, a mom, and a passionate home cook from Syria, where I grew up surrounded by rich, authentic flavours. Cooking has always been a joy for me, and my dishes have become favourites among family and friends. Through this course, I want to share the original taste of Syrian home-cooked meals, bringing the warmth and depth of our cuisine to others. Teaching these recipes allows me to connect my love for food with my heritage, and I hope to inspire others to enjoy cooking as much as I do.
