    Description

Join us for a weekend of creativity and craftsmanship as I guide you through the process of hand stitching and binding your own unique book. This immersive course is perfect for those looking to explore book binding while also learning a variety of artistic techniques to fill your book with personal expression.

Throughout the weekend you will learn to fundamentals of hand-stitching and book binding. The steps of creating your book block, and sewing it together by hand. You will also master the art of covering your book with some specially chosen paper/fabric you have in your ‘stash’ that you will bring to incorporate, turning your creation into a treasured piece of art.

In addition to the stitching and binding we will explore a range of creative techniques to enhance your book pages, including embossing, paper cutout designs and paper weaving. Whether you're adding texture, dimension, or intricate details, these techniques will personalise your book, further telling your own story within.

You’ll also have opportunity to experiment with colour through painting, cutting and collating to create one of a kind pages. The weekend will be filled with inspiration, as you meet like-minded individuals, share ideas, and immerse your self in the joy of creating.
