Description
Come and learn how to make the most popular dessert in Japan. Discover the secrets of baking the classic fluffy Japanese sponge cake and learn techniques for frosting and decorating your cake. On completion you will go home not only with your cake, but your baking tin allowing you to recreate cakes for family and friends.
What to bring
A tea towel. An apron. A container to bring home your baking. Your lunch. All ingredients are included within your course fee (a $25 ingredients charge is included).
About your tutor, Yu
I’m a Japanese pastry chef and mum. I have been living New Zealand for five years and I run a small patisserie business from home. I hope to share my love of baking with you all.
