If you're a migrant living in Aotearoa New Zealand, getting a job can bring some extra challenges, especially if you're not a native English speaker. So come along to this special session for migrants and learn 'the Kiwi way of doing things'.

Description
We'll show you what Kiwi employers are looking for. You'll learn how to:

minimise the 'unconscious bias' migrants can face

make a great first impression with a well written CV that highlights your achievements (not your job description!)

write a cover letter that gets you past the AI gatekeepers

review your LinkedIn profile (or create one) to make sure it's working hard for you

create a practical plan to network (it's the Kiwi way!)

practise the 'behavioural' interviews Kiwi employers love

produce career documents that sound like you - not Chat GPT.
Our course tutor Kate is an experienced ESOL teacher.
This course is suitable for migrants who are strong Intermediate English learners and above.
