Move beyond casual snapshots and learn how to create expressive, artistic portraits in this four hour, hands on photography workshop.
Portrait photography is more than pointing a camera at a face - it's about revealing personality, identity and story through thoughtful choices in lighting, composition and environment.
Learning Outcomes
Across the session, you'll explore:
- Individual portraits - capturing authentic expression and presence
- Lighting - using natural and artificial light to shape mood and clarity
- Environment & location - choosing settings that support your subject's story
- Technical skills - understanding camera settings that enhance your creative vision
Whether you're shooting on a DSLR, mirrorless camera, or a high quality phone, you'll gain practical techniques that elevate your portraits from ordinary to compelling. All experience levels welcome and we will have a student available as our model.
We will provide:
