Art can feel intimidating if you haven’t studied it, but it doesn’t have to be. This four-week art appreciation class provides simple and engaging strategies to help you feel more confident discussing art.
Each week, we’ll explore a different approach: looking closely, making meaning, and connecting to the artwork personally. The course will include a Saturday visit to a gallery to put your new skills into practice together.
This course is ideal for anyone who enjoys art but feels unsure how to talk about it. It’s perfect for beginners, gallery-goers, museum lovers, teachers, lifelong learners, or anyone who wants to build confidence in looking at and discussing artworks.
