Immerse yourself in a day of creativity and connection with nature in this one-day art workshop with Zoe Nash, celebrating plants and patterns. Perfect for anyone with a love of the natural world, this course encourages you to explore drawing, painting, and mixed media in fresh, playful ways. Starting with relaxed, observational exercises, you’ll be guided through a series of open-ended creative tasks designed to help you move beyond literal representation. Discover how to visually celebrate plants through expressive, intuitive, and imaginative approaches. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced artist looking to refresh your practice, this course offers a supportive, inspiring environment to experiment, take risks, and reconnect with your creativity. By the end of the day, you’ll have a small collection of unique, personal artworks on paper to take home and enjoy. (Your materials are included within the course fee).
Zoë Nash is a multidisciplinary artist, based in Tamaki Makaurau. Her work is a celebration of vibrant colour, pattern, shape and form. Making use of a range of different media, her works show a slow, mindful accumulation of repeated and detailed marks that draw from selected plant and flower motifs as inspiration. With over 25 years’ teaching experience, Zoë is passionate about helping others to creatively “bloom”.
