Come and learn to make homemade North Indian Chicken Biryani with Yoghurt Raita, and have fun along the way.
This is a flavourful, layered, one-pot rice dish made with marinated chicken, aromatic basmati rice, and a blend of spices, herbs, and sauteed onions. We will also add fresh seasonal vegetables to further enhance the dish. The dish is cooked over low heat to allow all the ingredients to gently steam and infuse flavours.
Raita is a popular Indian side dish made with yogurt combined with raw onions or cucumber, and seasoned with herbs and spices. It is served chilled and primarily functions as a cooling agent to balance the heat and spice of Indian dishes.
