Description
In this hands-on 2.5-hour workshop, you’ll learn the essential skills to create beautiful bouquets using locally sourced seasonal blooms.
We’ll cover how to choose flowers that complement each other, how to properly condition and prepare your stems, and how to work with colour and texture to create a natural, garden-inspired style.
Who should attend ?
Those with an interest in flowers, home decorating, or perhaps considering training for a career in the floristry industry.
Guided step-by-step, you’ll learn the classic spiralling technique and practise building your bouquet from scratch, learning how to adjust and balance your stems to achieve a harmonious, natural look. All materials are supplied, and you’ll leave with your own finished bouquet, along with the skills to confidently create arrangements for gifts, your home, or future floral projects.
What to bring:
We recommend that you bring a box, basket or other receptacle to carefully transport your creation home. All flowers, foliage and materials ($50) are included in your course fee.
