Come and learn the gentle art of pressing flowers – preserving blooms in all their delicate beauty.
Whether you’re joining this class on its own or planning to continue on to Part Two, Part One focuses on the essentials: which flowers and foliage press best, how to prepare them, and the simple methods that ensure vibrant, long-lasting results.
Guided step-by-step, you’ll explore how to select suitable materials, arrange petals and stems for optimal drying, and use a flower press to create perfectly preserved botanicals. You’ll also have the chance to press some of your own flowers, ready to use in craft projects or in the follow-on class if you choose to take it.

All materials are supplied in your course fee,. You’ll take home your own wooden flower press along with the knowledge and confidence to continue pressing at home - perfect for nature lovers, slow crafters, or anyone wanting to capture a little piece of the season.
