Description
This course is held offsite at Tetley Wheaton Motors in Glen Innes.
Course covers:
- ID plate location
- resetting tyre monitor systems after changing tyre pressures
- dash lights/symbols and meanings
- checking fluids (brake, transmission, coolant, oil, water etc)
- checking battery
- jump starting
- belts / cam belt assessing condition under the bonnet
- changing your spare tyre, check threads and pressures
- Seatbelt & window runner cleaning and care
- wipers and washers, how to change and unblock
- how to change common bulbs in car
- child seat fitting to vehicle correctly
- child locks for doors and windows
This is a beginner level course for those who have no familiarity at all with the workings of their motorcar.
About Peter Wheaton
Peter has been a mechanic since he was 17 and has done years of diesel work and over the years he has relearned the trade with all the updated electronics now in vehicles. He has trained apprentices to trade certificates, and as has been doing warrants since 1991. He has been at Tetley Wheaton Automotive for over twenty years.
