This course is designed as an introduction to the DSLR and mirrorless camera. Bring your own camera.
Have you got a new DSLR or mirrorless camera? Or perhaps you've had one for a while but use only 'point and click'.
Learn how to use the manual and semi manual modes on your camera to learn how to take good photos in difficult light, when the subject is moving, or very close or far.
The course covers basics such as aperture and shutter modes, controlling exposure, ESO settings and white balance.
Bring your camera manual, ensure the camera batteries are charged and ensure there is room on the memory card.
This course is for digital SLR and SLR-type advanced cameras (not compacts). Please telephone the office on 521 9623 for further information.
This course is also offered as a five-session evening course Digital Photography - Beginners.
