    Description

This third level Spanish class is for those who already have the ability and confidence to talk about situations in the present, daily routine and activities. This course will introduce the past tense.

A third level course to follow Spanish Beginners and Level 2.

    In this course you'll learn:

    • To talk about your childhood
    • How was life in the past and what is different now
    • Introduction to the past tense in Spanish
    • Talking about what you did yesterday

The amount of revision undertaken between classes can have a large influence on the final outcome for individuals.

Each week, the course will build upon itself. We ask students to revise material between classes. In addition, a short homework exercise is usually set. We encourage you to set up a Duolingo Spanish account (www.duolingo.com) on your computer or smartphone and practise for 10 minutes daily.

Visit our blog for tips and tricks on improving your Spanish language learning.

Our Spanish tutors create a fun and lively atmosphere in an informal classroom setting.

    Testimonials

October 2019: "Hi team, I recently attended Spanish 3 with Sergio and once again thoroughly enjoyed the content and style of his classes. Sergio is a very personable and charismatic teacher and I look forward to Spanish 4. Adam H

Dec 2017: Just a quick note to say how fabulous I thought Sergio was as a teacher of Level 1 Spanish… I have been to other classes from time to time and would rate him among the best I have come across… what an asset to Selwyn to have such a polished teacher… I have already signed up for Spanish Level 2! Susie

My husband, Mike and I have been attending Spanish classes for the last eight weeks at Selwyn Community Ed. Sergio is our tutor and I wanted to let you know how much we have enjoyed the classes and we feel that we have certainly started down the path to learning Spanish.  Sergio is a great tutor and he manages to strike the balance between making the classes enjoyable and at the same time ensuring that we are all learning.

It is our intention to return next year to progress with “our” Spanish. Kindest regards Lynley

"Fabiana is an enthusiastic and lovely teacher.  She has time to help everyone, and the class was relaxed and fun.  We learned very much. I will be back!". April 2014

"I enjoyed having my brain stretched, meeting other people and learning more about how the language fits together". Sally S April 2014.

"A great practical way to build on your basic Spanish skills in a fun, relaxing environment". Gina P April 2014

"It was good to move on from the basics - although a challenge, it really pushes you to learn" Maria April 2014
