Amanda Fe Echevarria
Amanda Fe Echevarria is a professional visual artist, art educator and curator currently completing her post-graduate degree in Creative Art Therapy. She has more than 15 years of teaching experience in different settings. Teaching the use of paper clay as a painting medium has been part of her art courses being offered in her workshop centre back home in the Philippines. This way of painting is so popular in her country that they hold national competitions in this medium. This painting technique creates vibrant and striking images without having to use paintbrushes.
Two years in university working as a lecturer, five years teaching Fashion Illustration and Fashion History in the Fashion Institute of Artand Design (FIDA) Philippines, 15 years teaching in my own art studio / workshop.
