Cayla Cao
With 18 years of experience teaching English to speakers of other languages, Cayla is passionate about helping learners gain confidence and improve their English for everyday life, work and study.
She has taught students from many different cultures and backgrounds across Migrant English, General English, NZCEL, PTE and IELTS programmes. Holding a CELTA qualification and a Master’s degree in TESOL from the University of Auckland, she combines expert knowledge with a warm, supportive teaching style.
Her classes are practical, engaging and welcoming, providing students with plenty of opportunities to build their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in a relaxed environment. She believes that learning English should be enjoyable and empowering, and takes great satisfaction in helping students achieve their goals.
When she is not teaching, she enjoys swimming and keeping active.
