Hand embossing, the subtle play of light and shadow, crisp clean lines that cast an alluring beauty onto the page. Using simple tools, your lettering or shapes come to life on your piece of paper. Learn how to make an embossing die for use in card making, paper crafts and calligraphic art.
You will take home the dies you make as well as a small sample booklet of the day's teaching as a record of your workshop.
Your lunch. Sharp pencil, ruler, cutting board (only if you have one), craft knife and spare blades, eraser, small metal teaspoon (or smaller one), large metal knitting needle (size 1 or 0), large gluestick, scalpel and blades (only in you already own these), scissors.
Your course fee includes papers, cards and the lino for preparing dies.
Scrap bookers, card makers, calligraphy learners, paper artists.
