Sarah Ritchie is a New Zealand fibre artist who specialises in creating two-dimensional needle-felted artwork using wool and other natural fibres. Drawing inspiration from the landscapes, animals and birds of rural Aotearoa, Sarah transforms wool into richly layered “fibre paintings” that capture the beauty of the natural world.
Sarah’s needle-felting workshops are designed to nurture confidence and curiosity — helping participants slow down, explore colour and texture, and discover the quiet satisfaction of making beautiful, unique artwork with an all-natural materials.
